This pendulum creates some cool patterns as it swings.
Material required: Stand (Wood, Metal, etc), Pendulum, Pit, String, Fine sand.Description: Each period that the pendulum goes through creates a new line in the sand. And as the velocity begins to eventually slow down the designs in the sand begin to gradually get smaller and smaller. The lines created by the tip of the pendulum become thinner and this makes the design in the sand very precise.
The extremely fine sand (included) provides minimal friction allowing the pendulum to swing for extended periods of time.
